Maddy Moon is enjoying helping people, “surrender to their own greatness and make the most out of life.” As a coach she empowers people from all parts of the world.

What’s your story?
I am a freedom mindset coach, helping people around the world surrender to their own greatness and make the most out of the one life they’ve been gifted.
I spent many years of my own life obsessing over my desire to feel like I had everything under control and it wasn’t until I truly surrendered and broke free that I realised just how good it feels to let go and truly live.
I share my insights in my podcast, books, programs, videos and articles. I absolutely love teaching women how to go from a limited, restricted, structured mindset to one of freedom, happiness, intuition and flow.

What excites you most about your industry?
I am excited by the passion I feel in my industry. People who teach others about changing their mindset really understand the power of the mind. If you can focus on changing your mindset, you can truly master the direction your entire life takes.
Simply learning to give up your iron clad grip on control will open up the doors to so many possibilities that you never would have seen before.
I love being a coach in this field because of the transformations I have seen in my clients. Some of them are nearly indescribable due to the power of their changes and it’s a blessing to be able to watch it all happen.

What’s your connection to Asia?
I’ve been travelling around Southeast Asia for the last 3 months, visiting areas in Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and soon I will be in Indonesia.

Favourite city in Asia for business and why?
So far, I think Chiang Mai has a lot of what I look for in a business-minded city. There are tons of digital nomads here working on their projects which brings a really fun energy to the city.

What’s the best piece of advice you ever received?
Don’t take anything too seriously.

Who inspires you?
My mentor and coach, Jake Ducey, author of The Purpose Principles.

What have you just learnt recently that blew you away?
Kopi Luwak is the most expensive coffee in the world. It’s produced from coffee beans that have been eaten and pooped out by an Indonesian animal called the civet cat. It’s also called “cat poop coffee” and people pay a good amount of money for a single cup. My friend has said it’s pretty exceptional!

If you had your time again, what would you do differently?
I wouldn’t change a thing. I’m beyond happy and blessed with where I am today and it’s all because of what I’ve experienced.

How do you unwind?
I love to take a hot shower, treat myself to a tablespoon of almond butter with chocolate chips on top, put on some nice smelling lotion and cuddle up in bed with a movie or an episode of whatever drama show I’m into.

Favourite Asian destination for relaxation? Why?
Nha Trang because I love the beach and all of the work spots on the beach. With that said, I already know when I go to Bali in a couple weeks I will fall head over heels!
